Where Reviews Come From
Customer reviews displayed on BuyModaReviews.com are sourced from Trustpilot, an independent third-party review platform. Trustpilot is one of the world's largest consumer review platforms and operates independently of any vendor.
Trustpilot's open review system means any customer — satisfied or dissatisfied — can leave a review. Reviews are linked to real Trustpilot accounts, which provides a verification layer that vendor-hosted review systems cannot match.
What Reviewers Are Asked to Cover
Customers are encouraged to address some or all of the following when leaving a review:
- Delivery: Shipping speed, tracking accuracy, customs clearance experience
- Product quality: Authenticity, packaging, match to description
- Customer service: Response time, helpfulness, resolution of issues
- Value: Price relative to quality and the overall ordering experience
- Guarantee: Whether the reship or refund policy was honoured if needed
What Disqualifies a Review
Trustpilot's platform automatically flags and removes reviews that violate its reviewer guidelines. Reviews may be removed for:
- Being posted without a genuine purchase experience
- Containing hate speech, personal attacks, or off-topic content
- Being identified as fake or fraudulent via Trustpilot's fraud detection
- Containing information that could identify a third party
BuyModaReviews.com does not independently remove or edit review content. The review data reflects Trustpilot's public feed for buymoda.net.
Negative Reviews
As of June 2026, approximately 14% of BuyModa.net's Trustpilot reviews are 1-star. Common complaints include delayed customs clearance, slow resolution of lost orders, and communication gaps. These reviews are displayed without filtering alongside positive feedback.
A review platform that hides critical feedback is not independent. The full picture — including where BuyModa.net falls short — is more useful to prospective customers than a curated highlight reel.
Conflicts of Interest
This platform is operated by Shane Hellmrich, who also operates BuyModa.net. That relationship is disclosed publicly on the About page. To preserve review integrity:
- Reviews are sourced from Trustpilot so Shane cannot selectively publish or remove them
- The site earns no revenue from advertising or vendor referral fees
- Negative reviews are displayed in full and are not challenged on this platform
